This (Instant Pot) Pressure Cooker Mongolian Beef is made with flank steak thinly sliced then cooked in a lightly sweet, garlic ginger sauce until it’s melt in your mouth tender.

FLAVORFUL

INGREDIENTS

Vegetable Oil

Flank Steak

Soy Sauce

Garlic

Fresh Ginger

Brown Sugar

Green Onions

Cornstarch

Water

SIMPLE

INSTRUCTIONS

Season the Meat then Brown

Add garlic, soy sauce, water, brown sugar, & ginger. Stir to combine

Add beef then cook on HIGH for 12 minutes

Quick Release

Add slurry & Green onions. Serve Hot

Expert Tip

 In the pressure cooker, it’s best to add thickeners after you cook the beef, so you won’t get a crisp coating in the pressure cooker, but the beef will be much more tender with plenty of rich, flavorful sauce.
