it seems like everything I make burns. I use extra liquid & it is not very thick and it is not even half full??? It seems like it takes 20 min. to come up to pressure & I think that is much too long. One meal was beef stroganoff ( no noodles in pot) and the second was chicken marsala. I start with a lot of liquid, but it is gone when I release pressure & meat is burned on bottom. Please Help…

I have had a Fargo Lux Multi for several months. Been trying to find a manual. I don’t know where to start. I’ve looked at several sites and finally found a manual…….but, it was in French. Argh!,

In reply to Lynn. Hi Lynn - was the stainless steel insert specifically made for the LUX? Most of the pots are not interchangeable amongst brands.

I made the beef curry in my Lux (delicious!). First I tried to use the stainless steel insert I purchased and steam started coming out of the pot after I started it. I’m a newbie, but know that’s not normal, so I quickly turned it off and released all the built up pressure. Then I poured everything into the ceramic pot. Long story to my question: Can you use a stainless steel insert in the Lux? Does it have to be inside the removable non-stick ceramic insert? I don’t want that to happen again!
