However, as much as I LOVE my new CrockPot Express 6 qt. pressure cooker, I will use my NuWave Oven Pro for the turkey. No worries about having to defrost the bird before you cook it! I made my first pressure cooker cheesecake last week and it was unbelievably great.

Hi Wendy – unfortunately, I’ve never made nor eaten creamed onions before and I wouldn’t be the best person to perfect the recipe. It sounds like you have a great start to perfecting it though. You could do a test with just one onion at various times and see which time works best. You could also make the white sauce in the Instant Pot rather than on the stove, then use the keep warm setting to keep them warm until time to serve. Good luck!

Then I made the white sauce in a regular saucepan.  I use rice flour instead of wheat ’cause so many people are avoiding gluten and it makes a silkier sauce.  They turned out great but I’d love to get the recipe perfected in time for the Christmas turkey.  Can you help me?  Thanks…

Have I been living under a rock all of these years? 🙂 Now I definitely need to get one.

It came out absolutely PERFECT! I made it in the 7″ springform pan. Because of the richness, this was truly the perfect size. It was so easy to make and it got rave reviews from my family. Thank you, Barbara!

Hi Carol – I’m so sorry to hear that you’ll be snowed in on Thanksgiving. It’s nice that you’ll be with her on the weekend though. Stay warm. Happy Thanksgiving!
