I loved my Fagor LCD Lux until it died after only 9 months. One day it worked and the next time I tried to use it everything seemed OK unit I realized it wasn’t getting warm. Display and everything is works as expected, just no heat. Fagor immediately responded to my email (they do not answer phones), but has been silent ever since I sent them the receipt and serial number. Apparently they don’t like handling warranty claims. I guess no matter how good the product is, if the company doesn’t support it nothing else matters. Instant Pot here I come…

I have just purchased the Fagor Lux LCD 8 Quart based on reviews by America’s Test Kitchen. The pot is very good quality and performer. Can the Custom settings be changed to another setting as needed, and if so, how do you over ride your original custom settings?

This looks very interesting! I have the IP but find that I would like to make more than one thing at a time!! 🙂 I love that the steamer basket has handles on it on this one.

I’m saving up for a pressure cooker. I read and heard so many recipes it can do and would love to cut down on the time to cook meals.

My parents used the old fashioned stove top when I was a kid- scared the begeezus out of me and we were told to stay out of the kitchen while it was in use. I received my first electric as a gift…took me 6 months of walking around it sitting on my kitchen counter before I could bring myself to even take the lid off and check it out. Im so glad that I finally got up the nerve to check it out. What a timesaver!! I have just about worn this one out, would love to get a newer model. This one looks fabulous!
