Added onion and garlic powder, basil, oregano, and black pepper. I used 1 cup of pasta (ditalini..my fave for this soup) and more spinach as I like a thicker soup. Next time I will likely cook my meatballs ahead and quarter them to get meat in more bites. I liked that this was so quick and easy!

Thanks Robert – I like the smaller meatballs too.

So I am DEFINITELY going to make this soup because not only does this recipe sound delicious, it also sounds v-e-r-y easy. Now all I have to do is find 1/2′ meatballs because that is my preference. When I do make the soup I will be sure to come back and let you know how it turned out for me and us. I can’t wait. YUMM!!!

Hi Pat – 1292 mg of sodium, which you can reduce by using low sodium chicken broth if you prefer. Only 9 grams of carbs. Enjoy!

Surely that’s incorrect! Could you post a correct nutrition list?

Hi Barb – yes, your Safeway should have them https://www.safeway.com/shop/product-details.970011763.3132.html or https://www.safeway.com/shop/product-details.128201315.html Acini de Pepe is just little balls and ditalini is just short little tubes.

I do know Orzo. Are the other pasta like orzo? small and round? Would my local Safeway have them? The rest of the ingredients sound good. I would like to try it.
