Hi Sharon – yes, you can make it with ground pork or even ground beef. I’ve made it with ground beef before without making any changes. If you want to spice it up a little bit, you can add more red pepper flakes. Enjoy!

It was *insanely* easy and delicious. I used mild Italian sausage. I halved the recipe ’cause it was only for my son and myself and my son won’t eat leftovers. Otherwise, I followed the recipe exactly and no adjustments were necessary! This is definitely being added to my repertoire!
