We omitted the orange zest (kids don’t prefer it), used lower sodium soy sauce, and increased the chicken to 1 1/2 pounds. The sauce flavor was mild, and not too salty or sweet. We served it with a side of steamed broccoli. My son, who likes things spicier, added a few drops of hot chili oil to his own serving. This will definitely be in our meal rotation. Love how easy and fast it was to prepare, and it was ready by the time my rice cooker was finished. Yum!
