Hi Julie – to help, I need to know the exact model you have. On the back of the Instant Pot is a label that has your model number info on it.

I have a Proofing setting button, it uses the air fryer lid. It doesn’t work for me and I can’t find the machine version anywhere for instructions. Any ideas, please? Its so frustrating!

Hi Laura – I rarely use any of the other buttons except the Pressure Cook button. The Steam function cooks a little hotter to get to pressure, but once it reaches pressure, it cycles on and off to maintain pressure just like the other pressure cook buttons, so there’s not much advantage to using it. Here’s my post on cooking “baked” potatoes https://www.pressurecookingtoday.com/pressure-cooker-baked-potatoes/ Have fun!

What setting and timing should I use to steam, say, whole potatoes?

Hi Christina – on the Viva you press the slow cook button repeatedly to cycle through the different slow cook options, less (warm), normal (low), and more (high).

I received the 6 qt duo Viva for Christmas. It has a slow cooker button on it. I am making soup and wanted it as the slow cooker but the pressure button will not move off of normal. What do  do?

Can you please tell me what these settings are for the sous vide button on the gourmet model of Instant Pot?
Also what is accuracy keeping level  the temperature for the sous vide button on the gourmet model, e.g. I’ve read  the Ulta InstantPot is plus or minus 5 degrees.

Hi Doug – that’s interesting. Definitely go by the V3 manual then 🙂

It clearly says version 2 (V2) Model: IP-DUO80 V2. However, it only matches the V3 manual and features listed on this website.
